I am new to this forum and Raspberry Pi in general but I managed to get PlexPi version 1.3 running on a 3B+. I have a powered external drive formatted for ext4 and everything is working great. I get a pop up saying a new version of Plex Media Server is available. Options are download or skip. I downloaded the new version and attempt to load it only to get an error message stating the details are in the log. I see many logs but not the one I am looking for. The default user is "pi" and password is "plexpi1". My Plex server version is 1.12.1.4885
The newest server version is 1.12.2.4929. What am I doing wrong here?

The way I updated is by going onto the terminal and using "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" will prompt you asking weather its ok just press Y and it should update everything :)

Just a note that this action is not yet supported in PlexPi - so doing as FunkyMonkey says may upgrade you, but could (and likely will) break PlexPi. Have a backup first.
This will progressively become less true as I already put a lot of work into the systemd migration as you know from the changelog, but I cannot account for changes in Plex being updated directly from them without my intervention to ensure it works for you :) If you are afraid to break things, just run the included version and ignore the updates for now.
More work is being done on the update process and will be part of a future release.
