Could it be that after a reboot the system had switched to IPv6?

Oh maybe. Hence the confusion: you'd experience the issue while on IPv6, then send me the answers while on IPv4 (so the errors didn't make sense). In the end, we figured it out, so I greatly appreciate your speedy replies - thanks.

Glad it's working correctly for you now, and that change will roll into NEMS 1.5 as well.
